In the foreground I used quite a few flowers and a couple of swirl dies. Furthermore some bows.
A Magnolia Christmas easel card this time, skating Tilda. Isn't she cute?! I coloured with Copics. The ice she's skating on was made by colouring the paper blue with a Copic and then adding Rock Candy Crackle Paint. The crackle gives it an ice effect.
In order to make the background speak a little more I cut a scalopped edge from a piece of waste cardstock and then I made the clouds with Distress Ink Weathered Wood. That is a little greyish which makes for a cloudy sky that seems so have some more snow in the clouds. If you use the bluer Inks you will get a more summery sky. I punched the background with a Martha Stewart Ounch Around the Page set. De snowstar is a Christmas ornament from which I cut the eye nad the snowman that Tilda seems to be looking at I bought once in a set of winter ornaments.
I used a Doohickey die for the fence which I gave some snow. At the bottom I used a white velvet rick rack ribbon to create the idea of some snow.
