Well, grab a coffee and sit down ladies, this post is picture heavy LOL! The workshop with Donna Downey last Sunday was brilliant! Donna is such a lovely person, wam and so friendly! Upon arriving we could pick, either get hugged (the American way) or get three kisses (the Dutch way)! Here's a picture of Annika, Donna and yours truly.
Now the workshop we did consisted of making a book with 40 different techniques, so basically you made a reference book to use when art journalling. So we didn't go home with some pretty project but that wasn't the intention. However, these pictures took a while, since I did pimp some of the pages at home. I couldn't resist LOL!
This spread was the 1st time for me working with Gelatos. They look like chopsticks for lips, but here there's colour inside. The're water soluble and you had to draw circles and then spray with water and rub with your fingers. The badge was a gift during the workshop with Donna's credo: 'Live inspired.'
These two were made with Pan Pastel. The top one stamping with Versamark en the bottom one with three layers of P.P. and fixating in between.here are some more techniques, you can read how it was made on the stickers.
These were made with Indian Ink and a straw, so oldfashioned but still a nice technique. Did you know there are loads of colours in Indian Ink? I thought that came only in black so I was amazed!
Well, that was is for now; there are more pages, but I still want to work on those, so there are more to come. I hope you liked me showing these. Hugs Frea
