I will assume that Corry has in meanwhile received my card; she will be 60 on May 5th, a crownyear and that deserves a special card. I made a framecard for her with a combination of a Little Miss Muffet digi and a Make it Crafty background digi, the combine perfectly. At the same time this is the new LMM Challenge, May Flowers. Since a framecard is pretty thick I made a matching box for it to sit in.
I coloured the image with Distress Inks and thought I had a brilliant idea to spray the image with glimmer mist when finished. I am such a dork because D.I. reacts with water and to in a few places the ink started running. Fortunately I could salvage the image by taking the waterbrush which absorbed the running ink. So happy cause it was quite a bit of work to colour.
On the frame of the card I tried to sort of imitate the branch in the digi with the small pink flowers. I quite like the effect.
I kept the inside of the card pretty simple by using the paper of the outside in combination with the Magnolia magnolia paper (LOL), I’m not stammering you know!
