Valentines & Love challenge at Little Miss Muffet!!

Jawel, hoe kan het ook anders, het is bijna Valentijnsdag, en ik heb Hooch gebruikt van de laatste release van Little Miss Muffet. De kaart heeft natuurlijk veel rood en veel hartjes erop want zo hoort dat met Valentijn kaarten. Het papier had ik al en heb ik al eerder voor een valentijn project gebruikt.
Yep, not surprises here, it's almost Valentines Day, and I have used Hooch, one of the lovely digi's of the last release of Little Miss Muffet. The card has a lot of red and lots of hearts because that is Valentines Day.

Achter het ponsrandje heb ik dubbelzijdig tape geplakt en vervolgens heb ik er Flower Soft Ultra Fine op gestrooid. De gehaakte bloemetjes heb ik gekocht bij Xenos en het doily hart heeft héél véél Stickles gekregen. Hooch is ingekleurd met Copics.
I put some doublesided tape behind the punched heart edge and then put some Flower Soft Ultra Fine on it. The crochet flowers were bought at Xenos and the doily heart has lots of Stickles on. Hooch was coloured with Copics.

De strik van Hooch is gepaperpieced en het gestanste hart heeft allemaal pareltjes met de Viva Parelpen gekregen.
Hooches bow was paperpieced and the diecut heart has loads of pearls made with the Viva Pearl Pen.

Aan de binnenkant heb ik hetzelfde hart gebruikt met een uitspraak, een sleutel bedeltje. Hooch heb ik overgetrokken op Krimpy Dinky en uitgestanst met een scallop nestability en vervolgens ..... gekrompen hihi! Zo kan de ontvanger 'm als sleutelhanger gebruiken. Hieronder nog een close upje.

On the inside I used the same diecut heart with a sentiment and a little metal key. I drew Hooch on Shrinky Dinkie and cut it out with a scalloped nestability and then ...... I shrank him LOL!! The receiver of the card can use him as a key chain. Here's a little close up.

Geen muizenvallen voor dit schatje en welkom nieuwe volgers!! No mouse traps for this cutie, and welcome to my new followers!!

Ik wil eerst eens even mijn nieuwe volgers welkom heten. Ik heb er zo ongemerkt de laatste tijd heel wat bijgekregen zodat ik hard op weg ben naar de 300. Hoor ik al candy papiertjes kraken hihi!!!
Deze zien jullie niet zo vaak bij mij op het blog, een House Mouse kaartje. Het stempelafdrukje heb ik al een eeuwigheid liggen en ooit eens van iemand gekregen. Aanleiding was dat ik eerder deze week aan de blog hop had meegedaan en daar zoveel van die schattige stempeltjes zag dat ik toch geïnspireerd raakte. Qua uiterlijk lijkt het een beetje op een valentijnskaartje, maar omdat ik dat nooit gebruik heb ik er toch maar een verjaardagskaartje van gemaakt. Het is voor mijn doen een vrij simpel kaartje, maar ik vind 'm toch heel vrolijk en gezellig geworden. Ik moet wel zeggen, ik snap nu wel die CAS (clean and simple) kaarten makers, wat scheelt dát een tijd zeg hihi!!

First of all I would like to welcome my new followers, I love it that so many of you lovely crafters want to have a peek now and again on my blog. I'm steadily heading for 300 followers so I think I can hear candy wrappers knispering ;-)
You don't see a House Mouse card that often on my blog. I have had this image for ages and the reason I pulled it out was that I joined in on the blog hop at the House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge blog, and I got so inspired by all those adorable stamps that I dug it out. On first glance it might look a little like a Valentinecard, but since Valentinesday isn't that big in the Netherlands, I decided to make it into a birthdaycard. It is quite a simple card but I quite like the effect. It's turned into a very cheerful fresh looking card. I must say though, that this makes me get the CAS (clean and simple) cardmakers a lot better, boy does this save a lot of time compared to my usual style LOL!!

Ik heb dit schatje ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en vervolgens uitgestanst met een nestability.
I coloured this little darling with Derwent pencils and then used a nestability to cut it out.

Met wat glitterhartjes laat ik 'm extra verliefd kijken ;) Ik heb het lint opgeplakt en een stukje tape er tussenuit gelaten. Daar heb ik een extra stukje lint onderdoor geschoven en een strik om het geplakte lint gemaakt. Verder mijn nieuwe Whimsey poststempeltje gebruik, leuk omdat ze relatief klein zijn.
With some glitterhearts I made him look a little in love ;) I used double sided tape for the ribbon and left a bit of tape out where I put an extra piece of ribbon underneath in order to make a bow. And I used my new Whimsey postmark stamp, the're nice and small, very convenient.

Van harte Magnolia / Best Wishes Magnolia

Zo, nu weer eens een ander kaartje dan Little Miss Muffet, hoewel ik moet zeggen dat ik erg verslingerd aan het raken ben aan deze digi's. Ze zijn zo leuk, er komen nog véél leukere aan en ik vind het zooo moeilijk om mijn mond te houden haha! Maar goed, op dit kaartje heb ik mijn allernieuwste stempels van Lily of the Valley gebruikt. Jullie snappen er nu denk ik niks meer van, maar ik heb deze week een transparante sheet gekocht met schitterende vintage hoekstempels van LOTV, die verkopen ze nl. ook en ze zijn werkelijk schitterend! Daarnaast heb ik ook de vintage postcard bij ze gekocht en die zien jullie zo ook voorbij komen!
Right, this time another card for a change, I must admit I am kinda hooked on the LMM digi's, the're soo cute and there are a few to come that are even cuter and incredibly romantic, it's all sooo exciting and I am not allowed to say anything which is pretty hard for me LOL!! Anyhow, I used my brandnew LOTV stamps on this card. You're probably at a loss right now, but I bought a sheet of transparant Vintage Corner stamps and the Vintage Postcard at LOTV and I think the're just brilliant! Have a look!

Ik heb een keer een embossingmal gebruikt voor de cirkelachtergrond, doe ik niet zo vaal maar ik vind het hier toch wel leuk staan met die cirkels. Tilda had ik al ingekleurd in de zomervakantie met Derwent potloden. De zelfgemaakte bloem linksonder heb ik met een Marianne stans gemaakt en die aan de binnenkant ook (komt straks). Ik heb papier uit een oud boek gebruikt zowel voor de bloem als bovenaan achter het hart.

En tenslotte nog een fotootje van de binnenkant van de kaart. Ook hier heb ik het DP doorgestikt en flink gedistressed. De vintage postcard heb ik hier op kraft gestempeld en die is te gebruiken om een persoonlijke boodschap op te schrijven. Ben benieuwd naar jullie mening, die waardeer ik altijd enorm.
Last but not least a picture of the inside of my card. Like the outside I did some stitching and lots of distressing and I stamped the Vintage Postcard which can be used to write a personal message on.

Voordat ik op zoek ga naar challenges moet ik jullie nog even deze meesterwerkjes van mijn dochter Kyra laten zien, en deze gaan niet op de post maar zijn om op te eten hoewel het bijna zonde is haha!!
Before I'm off to find some challenges, I have to show you these little masterpieces my daughter Kyra made; these don't get sent off in the mail but are for eating, although it is almost a shame to eat them, the're so pretty!

New release at Little Miss Muffet and I hope your day is as special as you are!

Een nieuwe release bij LMM en wat zijn ze leuk!!! Hier zie je ze allemaal en ik kan haast niet kiezen welke ik nou de leukste vind! En hier kun je ze vinden!!

Voor mijn kaart heb ik Vanilla gebruikt, vooral omdat ik nog heel leuk papier had liggen dat precies paste bij haar pyjamaatje. Het is een verjaardagskaart geworden. Langs de randen heb ik met een zwarte fineliner stiksteekjes gemaakt.

I used Vanilla for my card, especially because I had this paper that perfectly matched her little pyjama's. I made it into a birthdaycard, which I think will also serve for a childs birthday. I made some faux stitching around the edges with a black fineliner.

Ik heb haar gekleurd met Derwent potloden, ik heb gewoon nog niet de goede kleuren in Copics. In het haar heb ik wel Copics gebruikt om een beetje meer diepte en structuur aan te brengen, dat lukt toch minder met alleen maar potloden. Het ovaaltje is met een Nellie's Choice stans gemaakt en ik heb een zijden lintje erdoor geregen. Op de schulpjes heb ik een pareltje gemaakt met de parelpen.
I coloured her with Derwent pencils, I just don't have the proper colours in Copics (yet). I did use some Copics in her hair in order to get some more definition, because with pencils I find it a lot harder to do so.

Verder hebt ik weer flink met bloemen gestrooid en haar pantoffeltjes hebben weer pompommetjes gekregen, deze keer gemaakt met Flower Soft Ultra Fine.
I used quite a few flowers again and her slipper have little pompoms that I made with Ultra Fine Flower Soft.

Tenslotte heb ik ook de binnenkant versierd met hetzelfde papier gemat op geel. De felicitatie heb ik gestempeld op een ovaal ook gestanst met een stans van Nellie's Choice.
And I also decorated the inside with the same paper. The sentiment was stamped on an oval shape that I also cut out with a Nellie's Choice die.

Tenslotte ga ik nog even op zoek naar leuke challenges waar deze in past.

Little Miss Muffet Challenge Blue & Cream

Het is zover, de nieuwste LMM challenge (link hierboven) en dus.....mijn tweede LMM kaartje. Ben er best een beetje trots op (bloos). De digi die ik gebruikt heb heet Sarah, en als ik nu naar buiten kijk heeft Sarah het best bekeken; lekker met een boek en een warme kop chocolademelk (mèt marsmellows!) in je schommelstoel, mmm.. Het is een trapkaart geworden en behalve Sarah heb ik ook de snoepdoos van Magnolia gebruikt. Verder heel veel stansjes en heel veel bloemetjes en lintjes en dew drops, kortom, ik heb zo'n beetje alles uit de kast getrokken haha!!
It is time for the nest LMM challenge (the image is the link) so here is my second LMM card. I'm quite proud of this one (blush). The digi I used is named Sarah, and looking outside at the weather, Sarah sure looks comfy in her rockingchair with her book and hot chocolate (with marshmellows!) It's a stepcard and apart from Sarah I used the Magnolia sweet box. I added loads of die cuts, lots of flowers, some ribbon and some dew drops, in short, I used just about everything LOL!!

Ik heb gekleurd met Copics (nrs. onderaan dit bericht). De achtergrond van het papier waar ik op kleur is erg wit, en omdat ik dat niet mooi vond heb ik de hele achtergrond gekleurd met E50 zodat het een mooie crème kleur heeft. Ze heeft het de parelpen èchte marshmellows in haar chocomelk gekregen. Rondom het uitgesneden ovaal heb ik wat goudkleurige Stickles aangebracht.
Ik coloured with Copics (nrs. at the end of this post). The paper I coloured on is white, but I didn't like that so I coloured the entire background with E50 to give it a cream colour. With the pearl pen I added marshmellow to her hot chocolate and I added goldcoloured Stickles round the oval of the image.

Even een foto van haar slippertjes, met van die pluizige pompommetjes erop gemaakt met Flower Soft, geinig hè?!
I couldn't resist adding an extra picture of her slippers; I gave them tiny pompoms, aren't they cute?

Ik heb de afbeelding gemat op lichtblauw cardstock en dat vervolgens zo opgeplakt dat ik er een Magnolia label onder kon schuiven.
I put the image on blue cardstock and glued it in such a way that I could slide a Magnolia tag underneath.

Voorop nog wat roosjeslint en Wild Orchids roosjes; op de Magnolia snoepdoos een 'echte' strik met een brad in het midden. Op het Little Miss Muffet Challenge blog vind je de kaarten die mijn DT collega's hebben gemaakt dus ga even kijken en doe ook gezellig mee!

In the front I added some rosed ribbon, some Wild Orchids roses and some more die cuts. The Magnolia candy box got a proper bow with a pearl brad in the middle. I'm sending you flowers!!

Lekker zitten knutselen met mijn zus vanavond en één kaartje af en één in de maak, maar die kan ik pas donderdag laten zien want die is voor de nieuwe challenge van Little Miss Muffet. Maar deze kan ik wel laten zien, een lief LOTV stempeltje en het is een ezelkaartje geworden. Het papier is van Bo Bunny, Gabrielle, en ik vind het zo mooi dat het bijna zonde is om er iets overheen te plakken. Er zit daarom voor mijn doen niet zo heel veel op.
Had a wonderful crafting evening with my sister and finished one card and have one in the making, but I can't show you that one till Thursday cause its for the next Little Miss Muffet challenge. But I can show you this one, such a sweet LOTV stamp that I used on an easelcard. The paper is Bo Bunny , Gabrielle, and I think it's so pretty it's a shamy to put a lot of embelishments on. So I was a good girl and kept it reasonably simple.

Ik heb gekleurd met Copics maar heb dat van de zomer al gedaan dus....geen idee van de kleuren, sorry!
Het mooie bandje dat onder het plaatje doorloopt heb ik tijdens de Magnolia Event bij Paper & Pictures gekocht en vond ik er wel heel mooi bij passen.

Ik heb veel gewerkt met gestanste bloemetjes, mijn allernieuwste van Magnolia. De bloem zelf is niet zo bijzonder, maar als je 'm dan met Distress Inkt bewerkt en eigenlijk de blaadjes 'knakt' wordt 'ie ineens erg mooi vind ik; nog een klein roosje in het middens omdat het meisje ook roosjes vast heeft en klaar is Kees (en ik ook haha)! De vlindertjes zijn natuurlijk weer Cheery Lynn en hebben pareltjes gekregen en glitter. Het hart is een onderdeel van het grote Cheery Lynn hart en heb ik van mijn lieftallige zus Annika gekregen. Ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden! Ik ga op zoek naar challenges!!
I made a lot of diecut flowers using my brandnew Magnolia die. Now the flowers aren't that special but if you use some Distress Ink and fold them they get some texture and I think the're gorgeous! I put a little rose in the middle because the little girl is holding roses too. The heart is a part of the large Cheery Lynn heart and my sister gave me that one, I don't have it myself. So, I'm curious what you think of this one. I'm off looking for challenges!

Mijn eerste Little Miss Muffet DT kaartje! My first Little Miss Muffet DT card!

Ohhh ik vind het zooo leuk, mijn eerste LMM DT kaartje. Voor deze criss cross card heb ik Bailey gebruikt, is ze niet schattig?? Ik vind dat haar helemaal geweldig! Ik heb weer het Blink of an Eye papier van My Minds Eye gebruikt, ik vind het zo'n mooie kleurcombinatie. De ovale stans is een Marianne Design Craftable en de oranjebruine 'vleugel' stans is Een Marianne Design Creatable. Het kraftrandje is gemaakt met een Martha Stewart pons.Ik heb wat doorgestikt op de naaimachine en alles is gedistressed met Walnut Stain.

Ow I'm so excited, my very first LMM DT card. I used Bailey for this criss cross card, isn't she cute?? I used the Blink of an Eye paper by My Minds Eye again, I just love that colour combination. The oval die and the wingshaped die are both Marianne Design dies. The kraft edge was made with a Martha Stewart punch. I did some stichting om my sewing machine and distressed the edges with Walnut s

Ik heb Bailey ingekleurd met Copics en de tekststempel is van Nicole Verkooijen.

Rechtsonder heb ik een bloemarrangementje gemaakt; de vlinder en de blaadjes zijn Cheery Lynn stansjes.
On the bottom right I made a flower arrangement; the butterfly and the leaves are Cheery Lynn dies.

Binnenin de kaart zit nog een kaartje waar je een persoonlijke boodschap op kunt schrijven. Ik heb bovenaan een soort etiket stansje gebruikt (weet niet welk merk) alsof het een soort scharniertje is die met een brad is vastgezet.
On the inside is a card to write a personal message on. At the top I used a diecut as a fake hinge attached with a brad.
